Topic: Healthy Nails

There are a lot of misconceptions about nails. One of the most common concerns I hear is that gel polish ruins natural nails. First there is nothing that your Nail Technician should do to ruin your nails. Seriously, nothing! I have been wearing hard gel enhancements (more about them later) for years and if they are removed properly, they will not harm my natural nail. Therein lies the rub...they, as any nail product, must be removed properly. If I get bored one day and start picking them, I would, by that action, seriously damage my nails.

Most people who have tried gel polish manicures and had their nails thin or peel and become soft afterwards have found a little lift and picked at it. When you pick polish off, a little (or a lot) of nail plate comes up with it. Applied and removed properly, gel polish can be a fantastic, log lasting addition to your beauty regimen!
