You Know the Drill
Not the Black ‘n Decker from Home Depot, the one that many nail technicians use in nail care…it may not be as innocent as you think.
Don’t get me wrong; I use my drill often…on enhancements. That’s it, on acrylic, hard or soft gel additions, never on a natural nail.
Most people who have come to me with sensitive nail beds have had drills used on them. When using a drill, it’s difficult to control the pressure from injuring the thin layer of keratin that is the nail.
Please don’t let anyone use a nail drill on your nails. Your hands are important, take good care of them.
